I’m a Celeb finale: Voting breakdown revealed as Jill Scott wins 2022 season

The voting breakdown after the i am a celebrity was finally released.

Sunday night’s (November 27) finale resulted in ex-lioness Jill Scott being crowned Queen of the Jungle – the series’ first LGBTQ+ woman to win the show.

During the show, hosts Ant and Dec announced that over 12 million votes were cast, with Scott receiving the most and taking first place.

Hollyoaks Star Owen Warner was second while Matt Hancock finished his i am a celebrity Stint in third place.

ITV released the statistical breakdown of votes on Monday (November 28), showing how close the votes were.

In the third-place vote, Scott had 47.29 percent of the vote, Warner had 30.99 percent, and Hancock had 21.72 percent of the vote to win.

Since Hancock had the least, he was eliminated first in the program.

Scott also had a solid lead in the final round of voting, finishing with 57.66 percent of the vote compared to Warner’s 42.34 percent.

When the result was announced, Scott was visibly surprised to be crowned the winner, saying, “I don’t know why everyone voted!”

Shortly after her coronation, Scott ran into her partner of six years, Shelly Unitt.

Warner was just as happy to leave the jungle and had an ecstatic reaction after being surprised on set by his brothers.

Viewers online were quick to share their delight that Scott was crowned queen and their relief that Hancock hadn’t won.

Though his appearance was widely debated, Hancock said in his post-elimination interview that he had no regrets about taking part in the show. He said he took part in the program to have an opportunity to show who he is and not the perception that was being shown in the media.
