Idrissa Gueye sends message to Anthony Gordon after Everton’s exit

Everton defensive midfielder Idrissa Gueye said on Instagram that Anthony Gordon is said to have left the Toffees for Newcastle United.

Gueye has responded to Gordon’s post on Instagram after the England winger completed his move from Everton to Premier League rivals Newcastle.

The Magpies announced the transfer of the 21-year-old on their official website today.

Newcastle have reportedly paid £45million in transfer fees for the 21-year-old attacker.

Gordon sent an emotional message to Everton on Instagram and Gueye responded, making it very clear that he should see the youngster leave Goodison Park.

Gueye returned to Everton in 2022 after a stint at Paris Saint-Germain.

Anthony Gordon is a very good winger and the fact that Newcastle United paid £45million for him shows how highly he is held in the football community.

Everton will miss him, especially now that the Toffees are in danger of being relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

However, the Merseyside club will move on.

Everton still have enough good players to get out of trouble.

As for Gordon, it will be interesting to see how the winger fares at Newcastle.
