A WOMAN who told a takeaway delivery driver she was worried about gaining weight received a text from him shortly after.
Shannon Charnick was shocked when he picked up his cell phone to find a text message after finishing his barbecue.
She came Twitter where she shares screenshots of messages she receives.
It says: “You make me worry about what you say about getting fat. Don’t worry you’re not fat. Hope you’re okay.”
Captioning his tweet, Shannon wrote: “I ordered food from a kebab again and when the delivery man came to my door I said omg I gunna too fat and then he texted me this (sic) .”
Her tweet went viral, garnering more than 523,000 likes and 25,000 replies, with numerous warnings to Shannon to be careful.

One user warned: “I once had a Dominos delivery chasing me by text.
Another revealed: “I once had a pizza delivery guy start calling me and texting me asking to be my girlfriend because I said Happy Valentine’s Day while I was checking out.
“I laughed about it but was really shaken.”
Another concerned user added: “Bit is worried that he has her number. If it were me, I would have told her she wouldn’t be fat the next time I delivered her barbecue. “
While one male user suggested: “He wouldn’t text me if I said the same. There’s only one reason why he’s texting you…”
Others, however, jumped to his defense.
“The fact that he tested you so well,” one woman replied. “The world needs more people like him.”
Another said: “This is such a sweet thing for him. It’s good to help others.”
