A FORMER Home Bargains employee has spoken openly about the most annoying questions customers have ever asked her.
Jess Harrison took to her TikTok page to share a video explaining the issues she faced on a daily basis while working at the Burnley store.
“Working in bargain vibes at home,” she captioned the clip.
She then flashed each question, starting with “Do you want cashback?” to which she replied with a resolute “No.”
“Can I see the manager?” was another frequently asked question, along with “Can I buy more than two packets of paracetamol?”
And even if they said no, customers often asked: “Even if I send my child to the other checkout with the other packages?”
“Can I push open the checkout barrier?” was also asked regularly, as well as “Can you see if you have any more behind?”
In response to Jess’s video, other Home Bargains employees have also shared annoying questions they are regularly asked.
“Oh god I feel you I work there too and absolutely hate it when people try to cross the cash barrier,” one person wrote.
To which Jess replied, “It’s so annoying.”
“Or if they say but I got it here last year,” added another.
“Forgot 9 out of 10 things at home Bargains are once-in-a-lifetime!”
Another comment read: “People asking are they moving the barriers?
“Gosh, customers in our store just press and pretend they can’t hear the beep!”
