TIRED of tripping over endless pairs of shoes left in the hallway?
Well, maybe it’s time to invest in a cheap storage solution.
And one savvy homeowner has proven that you don’t always have to spend a small fortune to achieve your dream interior.
Instead, Dea accepted Tick tock and demonstrated how she upcycled two £90 Ikea wardrobes – giving her hallway a very modern update in the process.
She captioned the post, “Watch me transform these two Ikea closets into my dream hallway.”
Dea is then seen sanding down two Ikea Stable shoe cabinets before gluing paneling around the edges of the drawers to give them character.
Then she gives the cabinet a new coat of paint and finishes it off by adding stylish gold handles.
Dea captioned the video: “Few days, two hands and no pro tools. Love how it turned out!”

And it’s no surprise that social media users have been more than impressed with the modern makeover.
“AMAZING FLAWLESS YES YES YES!!!!” wrote one.
A second enthused: “Oh yes I have these and was trying to figure out what to do with them thanks.”
A third commended: “Looks great.”
Elsewhere, another wrote: “Wow I wish I had your skills! I’m stuck with Ikea design because handmade is just not my thing, which annoys me because I really enjoy it.”
In response, Dea encouraged: “I’ve never done anything like it just thought it would be cool to try – go for it and take your time! It’s about enjoying the process.”
