TikTok’s cleaning expert @ whole.caroline shares nine ways genius that she incorporates baking soda in her home.
FIXING DULL CLOTHES
Her first piece of advice is to add half a cup to a load of laundry.
She claims this will brighten and increase the color of old clothes.
SOLUTIONS SINK
Caroline also says a little baking soda will make your sink shine like new.
All you have to do is sprinkle an adequate amount around the surface, scrub with a soapy sponge, then rinse with a little water.
HAIR HACK
Her third tip is the most surprising: use it as a dry shampoo.
She says to mix a small amount of baking soda with some cornstarch and rub it into the roots of your teeth.
TUB RUB
Caroline also uses this product to remove dirt from the bathtub.
She created a mixture of equal ingredients baking soda and dish soap and began scrubbing with a sponge.
DELETE IT
Surprisingly, she says the powder can also be used as a sort of “magic eraser.”
Caroline dipped a damp sponge in some baking soda and revealed that it removed the scratches on her white walls.
RELAXING ACCESSORIES
The cleaning expert says adding a cup or two of baking soda to your bath will also make a detoxifying soap.
STRONG
If you have a moldy t-shirt that you can’t seem to get rid of the smell, Caroline says toss it in a Ziploc bag along with some baking soda.
After letting it sit for two days, shake it off and the smell should go away.
