I regret that Madison was tested for ADHD and autism

TOWIE’s Chloe Sims has opened up about her regret at being so public about her daughter’s potential neurodivergence.

The 40-year-old star is mom to 16-year-old Madison, who she tested for ADHD and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) as a child but “never followed up.”

Chloe revealed she wished she hadn’t been so “open” about getting her daughter tested.

“I had her checked out and it was a possibility, but we never followed it up,” she told OK.

“Now it seems to be all over the internet. I probably shouldn’t have been so open back then.”

Chloe added: “That was a mistake on my part because now we get asked all the time but we don’t talk about it anymore. I just had her checked out when she was seven and they might have said that’s all.”

ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is one of the most common childhood disorders and involves a combination of persistent symptoms such as attention deficit disorder, hyperactivity and impulsive behavior.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is an incurable, lifelong developmental disorder that affects how people perceive the world and interact with others.

Chloe previously shared information about her diagnosis in her autobiography, The Only Way is Up My Story.

The 40-year-old has been a single mother since 2005 after her relationship with Mady’s father Stephen ended

Matthew was always a good co-parent and Chloe said that “Madison’s dad and family have always been supportive”.

In a past interview, Chloe explains why they went their separate ways: “I dated Maddie’s father Matthew for seven years but we ended up being like brother and sister and that’s not what I want.”

Chloe also recently revealed that she kept her plastic surgery a secret from Mady.

The Towie favorite instead tells the teen she was in an accident when Mady noticed bruises on her mother’s body.

The reality TV star has spent around £30,000 on breast surgery and a butt lift over the years but has previously denied having a nose job.

Chloe, 40, explained: “Before, if I had bruises or something, I’d just make something up, say I’d fallen or something.

“It’s not something she needs to be aware of.

“She’s only 16. She once asked if she could have veneers, but now she has braces.”

Chloe has had botox and fillers injected into her face, but in December the former Playboy bunny addressed claims she underwent surgery to alter her bone structure after sharing a picture of her teenage self.

The TV favorite has had two breast surgeries to go from 34B to 34EE and two Brazilian butt lifts to round out her bum.

She’s also had veneers, but she has repeatedly denied facial surgeries, including a nose job and chin implants, claiming her changing face was solely due to fillers.

Since then, she has not spoken publicly about her daughter's diagnosis
