If you’ve ever welcomed a baby, chances are your birth plans were unsuccessful or abandoned during labor.

And that’s the case for US-based TikTok user @mercedezllauraxwho suddenly found herself giving birth in the back of a taxi.

In the short clip shared online, she can be seen lip-syncing to Tyga’s song Rap City, which includes the lyrics: “I’m a motherf ***** star.”

She later wrote: “I pushed my baby out in 20 minutes with 0 pain relief, in the back of a cab with no midwife and no stitches.”

But while many praised Mercedez for her quick and forthright labor, others didn’t mind the overly good comments – with many accusing her of being braggart.

In response to one person sarcastically wrote “proud?” TikTok user quips: “So proud, I’ll let you know hun xoxo”

A second warning: “It’s not a contest,” repeated the mother of one: “Nobody said it was a lovely game.”

And a third question: “Do you want a medal?”

Elsewhere, others have taken the opportunity to share their unusual birth experiences.

“Push me to the sofa, no pain relief, no midwife, just the dog and my daughter and the baby’s dad watching,” one person wrote.

One second recalls: “I gave birth to 2 unplanned babies at home without pain relief and my husband was my midwife.”
