I promise the objects are the SAME color in this mind-blowing optical illusion

A NEW optical illusion is playing tricks on people’s eyes trying to figure out if these two balls are the same color.

At first glance, the two baseballs look like they are completely different colors. However, you need to focus more to see anything else.

“If you look closely, you can see that the spheres are covered in different colored lines,” he said David Novicka university of Texas Professor.

Novick maintains his own color illusion website and often shares photos of the illusions he creates.

The baseball on the left has green and blue lines across it, while the one on the right has red and yellow lines.

Because of the different lines on the baseballs, it has the effect of one baseball being cooler toned than the other, but if you look past the lines you can see that the baseballs are actually the same color.
