I let my husband cut my hair to save money and ended up looking like Baldrick from Black Adder

A WOMAN is mortified after her husband’s attempt to cut her hair goes horribly wrong.

In a short clip on TikTok, Kate Rorison proved why it’s better to invest the extra mile and hire a beauty professional.

“Just sitting here thinking about the haircut my husband gave me in lockdown,” she wrote alongside the major blemish, which was viewed by nearly 50,000 people in just one day.

Kate was seen gnawing a piece of apple at the star of the clip before revealing the tragic aftermath.

“It’s so bad, I want to give you a zero – but I can’t.

“So I’ll give you an A,” Kate used the viral TikTok sound.

The dark-haired mum trusted her husband with the scissors and stuck with what resembled more of an odd attempt at a bowl cut, which some viewers compared to Lord Farquaad’s iconic looks.

“I’m smiling in the photo but drama followed shortly after,” she wrote in the comments, adding that her partner also gave her an undercut on her back – which Kate has yet to pin down.

In fact, the bangs were so short and uneven that she even considered shaving them off for a fresh start.

“I think he was secretly mad at me that day,” she told viewers.

Despite the initial scare, Kate claimed she’s now “cured” from the embarrassing haircut disaster and can laugh about it – although she still called it the “biggest mistake” of her life.

Viewers were left in awe, with some tagging friends and sharing their thoughts in the comments.

“How have you been since the divorce?” one user joked amusedly, while a second chuckled, “Truly I say lead me to Ye Olde Ale House from now on.”

Someone else wondered, “Is he blind by any chance?”

Another thought, Kate’s look could be described as “wild pulp fiction”.

But the mum wasn’t the only one whose loved ones lacked hairdressing skills, as some shared their horror stories.

“My husband cut my hair too, looked like he cut it with a knife and fork lol,” one of them read.

“I had my daughter cut my daughter and she just grew back so I can tuck her in a ponytail,” said another user.
