Lioness Jill Scott was crowned Queen of the Jungle this year I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!.
Scott was announced as the winner by host Ant and Dec at the end of Sunday night’s (November 27) episode.
On Monday (November 28) the former England soccer player appeared on Good Morning Britain to reflect on her time in the jungle.
Presenter Susanna Reid took the opportunity to ask Scott if she had any plans to go on TV or present, while joking that her job could be in jeopardy.
“I have no plans,” Scott said.
“When I retired I should have had a plan. That’s how I ended up in the jungle,” she explained.
“I don’t know what I’m going to do next. If you give your all every day, keep trying to be a good person and see what happens,” the former England soccer player added, before assuring Reid her job was “safe”.
Scott was then asked about his fellow contestant, disgraced Tory MP Matt Hancock, who finished third in the competition.
“I haven’t had a chance to catch up, so I still feel like I’m in a little bubble,” Scott said, responding when asked if the severity of his entry into the jungle had become more apparent since she left.
“I felt like when we came into this jungle, everyone was the same,” she continued.
“In there, food is so important to taking trials and earning stars – he did, to be fair. He smashed the exams.”
“As long as he fed us, I was happy,” she added.
As of Sunday night, three candidates were still in the running to be crowned king or queen of the jungle: Scott, actor Owen Warner and Hancock.
