I found my iPhone TEN years after it went missing…my husband heard strange noises coming from our toilet

There is nothing better than finding something you thought you lost.

But one couple found something a little different, having lost it ten years ago.

Ten years ago, Becki Beckmann, living in the state of Maryland, USA, lost her iPhone in 2012, on Halloween night.

Becki can’t find the phone anywhere, so buy a new one, as you would if it’s nowhere to be seen.

But Becki was extremely confused when she lost the phone because she had not gone anywhere so it could be stolen.

In a Facebook post, Becki recalled how she “replaced it, move on, whatever”.

“It’s mysterious but it’s gone,” she said.

But now, ten years later, a toilet problem this week has solved a strange, decades-old mystery.

Becki said the couple started hearing a “bang” as they flushed the toilet.

“At first we blamed the toilets being old or the bad construction,” she explains.

But her husband became agitated, so in the end he decided to “go into it”.

But after a while of rushing in, Becki’s husband was completely shocked with what he found.

Becki explained that her husband ran out to tell her she “wouldn’t believe what he found in our toilet”.

He found the lost iPhone from deep in the toilet’s pipe.

The image shared by the couple shows the device with its back open, it’s clear that after ten years it has been through some rough patches.

Becki added: “This is so, so far away from what I was expecting.”

Becki’s post received nearly 700 comments, with many people completely shocked when they discovered the phone.

One person said: “Now why is my glass screen breaking when I even look at it so funny but you can actually use it for years and it’s perfect?”

Another added: “It’s not like it’s stuck in your toilet for 10 years and never causes a problem until it starts making a sound.”

A third commented: “How are you guys not congested? My townhouse has a baby mop in its pipes and I take all the neighbors into my laundry room. ”
