‘I don’t want to have to draw my gun’: Georgia GOPer warns of ‘civil war’ if Trump is prosecuted

Republican Georgia Senator Colton Moore told War Room host Steve Bannon on Tuesday that he wants to urge the legislature to allow Fulton County Attorney Fani Willis to prosecute former President Donald Trump and 18 co-defendants , not funding, arguing that Trump’s prosecution threatens to ignite a “civil war.” Moore complained that accused Senator Shawn Still had to spend “a million dollars” to defend himself in the case. “It’s just like Nazi Germany,” Moore claimed. “I mean, they want to call us Nazis and their actions are Nazism.”

Moore’s comments came in line with the intentions of Georgia’s Republican Senate leaders find a way to punish Willis for filing charges against Trump. “I told a senator … we need to put our heads together and find out. We must take action immediately. Because if we don’t, our constituencies will fight it in the streets. Do it.” “You want a civil war? I don’t want civil war. I don’t want to have to draw my gun. I want this issue to go away with my legislative powers,” Moore told Bannon. “And the first step in getting that done is to take all Georgia taxpayers’ money out of Fani Willis, and hopefully Rep. Jordan and Biggs will follow suit in Congress and take her federal funds out of her as well.” For she is not keeping her oath to the Constitution.”
