Deciding on your child’s name is an important decision to make and one that you most likely won’t take lightly.
But one woman has revealed that she decided to name her baby five years ago, before she got pregnant, but is having second thoughts now.
The woman has come Mumsnet revealed that she is pregnant and will give birth in a few weeks, but she is panicking that her baby will be bullied because of the name she has chosen.
And she’s not worried that people won’t like the name, but that’s because of the name’s association with the coronavirus.
The woman explained: “So we decided on the name in September 2017.
“We’ve been trying to have a baby for a while and knew this would be our daughter’s name when we finally got pregnant.
“Anyway, we’ve found out we’re having a baby girl and I’m about to give birth.
“We decided to call her Cove.
“But now I worry that it is too close to Covid, especially since she will be born during the pandemic.
“I’m not too worried about people liking the personal name, but more worried about whether she will be teased in the future because of its association with Covid?
“Am I thinking too much?”

Many Mumsnet users were quick to comment on the name and advised her to change it to avoid the child being bullied due to its connection to the coronavirus.
One said: “On one hand, you should pick a name that you like. On the other hand, and I’ll be honest when you ask, if I heard of a kid named Cove born in 2020 or during a pandemic, I’d think the parents were trying and not being funny and that’s it. bad call . ”
