I chased fame and it was the biggest mistake I’ve ever made, warns The Apprentice’s Jessica Cunningham

FORMER trainee star Jessica Cunningham has warned this year’s contestants not to chase fame.

The 34 years old Appear on BBC show in 2016 and went on to appear in Celebrity Big Brother, while also making frequent press appearances about her personal life, which means her clothing business has been put on hold.

Now talking about her experience, the mother of five admits that she was “lazy” and ended up feeling “suffering”.

Best of luck to new applicants, she advises: “Best advice I can give: DON’T BE POPULAR.

“That was THEEEEEE’s biggest mistake I made. I was lazy, bothered about setting up pap pics, stopped working on my business, tried to be a mom blogger and kept looking for authenticity through strangers.

“When I entered the apprenticeship, I continued to win, with no intention of being famous.

“Not for a chance, but to show people that I was ‘good enough’ – then when I lost, I did some clever lingerie shots, dating one of the contenders. another member #cringe and a celebrity instead 🤣.

“It was the most painful thing I’ve ever been through. I’ve been struggling to find what I’ve owned all this time. Valuable.

She continued: “I remember feeling like a failure and not good enough when people/friends/relatives told me ‘you want to get yourself on @bbcstrictly Or @imacelebrity’ or ‘you should recommend yourself’ introduce @loosewomen or @thismorning “and me I smile awkwardly and think “I’m a D-list celebrity”.

“Being on TV really confused me, I felt self-conscious, buying Instagram likes to keep up with appearances and attending events I didn’t really want to go to for press opportunities.

“It also made me lose my integrity a bit.”

She went on to say that there have been benefits – including a platform to work with “incredible women”.

She concluded: “Moral of the story, don’t chase fame, enjoy the ride, maximize the publicity you get and use it to grow F**KING AMERICAN BUSINESS”.

Jessica appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2017 alongside the likes of Jedward, Heidi and Spencer Pratt.

She briefly dated Courtney Wood, who also appeared on The Apprentice.

She currently works as a mind coach and helps female entrepreneurs grow their businesses.
