I am a doctor and this is how a bad infection causes a patient to have a penis on his ARM

MANY people get infections throughout their lives, whether it’s bacterial, fungal, or viral.

But a doctor has revealed how a specific infection caused a man to have his penis stuck to his arm.

Post on TikTok, Dr. Karan Rajan explain why the patient has to sew his soldiers elsewhere.

In 2014, patient Malcolm McDonald have a severe perineal infection in the perineal area, also known as ‘gooch’.

Dr Rajan explained: “The infection started to spread to his genitals causing his male organs to turn black, die and fall off, automatically amputating the limb.

“But the doctors were able to build him a new digeridoo, one of which is a mechanical part.

“The only catch is that it will be on his left forearm for a while.”

Dr Rajan says that surgeons took a piece of skin from his left arm and rolled it into a tube around a vein taken from his leg – this would form a shaft.

He adds: “A new urethra or urethra is formed by making a hole in the skin.

“In order to allow the erection tubes to be mechanically controlled, two air-pump-driven inflatable tubes were also installed.

“This proto penis was dangling from his arm so it could grow naturally and then eventually reattached to its natural resting position.”

In the comments, he added that what happened to Malcolm was ‘quite rare’.

He explains that once the penis is reattached to its correct position, it will still function, but with the use of a manual pump.

Some users are curious as to how Malcolm was able to urinate while attaching his penis to his arm.

Dr Rajan said he would not be able to urinate through it as it was on his forearm and it was likely Malcolm had been temporarily fitted with a ‘super public catheter’.

NORMAL LIFE

In an interview with The Sun last year, Malcolm, 45, revealed that he had been given two extra inches by surgeons.

He said: “Of course it’s crazy – having a penis on your arm. I’m not even used to it. But when you think about it, it’s really cool.

“The fact that they were able to make me a new penis is incredible – but the fact that they were able to make it on my arm is amazing.

“It looks like something from a weird sci-fi manga. But it’s my chance to have a normal life.

“It’s the first step to being able to go to the bathroom and even get intimate with someone.”

Professor David Ralph, a penile specialist at University College London Hospital treated Malcolm but warned it could take two years, which he was pleased with.

The man who confused TikTok with this X-ray was very rude – but can YOU know what it really is?
