OWINGS MILLION, Md. (AP) – Tyler Huntley missed Friday practice for the Baltimore Ravens because of an illness, adding further uncertainty to the team’s quarterback situation heading into this weekend’s game in Cincinnati.
Huntley was placed on the questionable list for Sunday’s game, pitting the AFC North co-captains against each other. Lamar Jackson, who missed last weekend’s loss to Green Bay with a sprained ankle, is also in question after missing practice this week.
Huntley ran the Baltimore attack pretty good last weekend, throw hit the ground twice and run twice. If Jackson and Huntley are unable to compete, the Ravens may need to turn to veteran tennis player Josh Johnson, who signed with Baltimore before last week’s game.
The Ravens have ruled out guard Ben Powers (leg) for the game and listed receiver Devin Duvernay (ankle) as suspect. Defensive saves Calais Campbell (thigh), full-back Patrick Mekari (arm), full-back Odafe Oweh (sick), full-back Patrick Ricard (knee) and safety Brandon Stephens (sick) are issues topic worth discussing.
Baltimore safely activated Chuck Clark, who led the attack on Trystan Colon, and kicked Nate McCrary off the reserve/COVID-19 list.
