Humpback whale almost falls into boat off Long Beach

whale hello

Passengers aboard a boat about an hour off the coast of Long Beach started their Memorial Day weekend with a splash when a humpback whale almost overturned their ship.

“Memorial Day weekend starts with a bang,” it says The Sage of Long Island captioned the 8-second video on his social media pages on Friday Nicole Liotta for the footage.

Liotta, 27, of Long Beach, told the Post that the whale actually touched the boat.

She said there were three passengers on board – two of whom could be heard screaming as they saw the giant mammal leap out of the water.

Liotta said she screamed “more in shock” than anything else.

She added that the group also saw the whale emerge from a greater distance when they stopped to spot dolphins.

The video has been viewed over 125,000 times by the Long Island Wise Guys Instagram reel and 138,000 views his tik tok.

The onlookers were ecstatic at the breathtaking moment – some just as shocked as the screaming passengers.

“But does he have a beach pass?” one person joked.

“I needed a change of pants,” admitted another terrified viewer.

“That’s great! It might scare the shit out of me, but I’d definitely love it!!” someone else exclaimed.

One admitted: “My heart would have stopped if I had been on that boat.”

“That scream 😂 I would do the same lol,” laughed another.

“He just said hello,” one person suggested.
