Godzilla and King Kong invade Caldera, and Operation Monarch gives Warzone players a chance to fight back. Featuring a new killstreak, some new mechanics, and a whole heap of mayhem, this is what you need to know before jumping into a game.
Call of Duty Warzone Pacific is set for an adrenaline rush with the arrival of Operation Monarch.
This limited-time mode gives players the opportunity to wield a whole new level of might as they take on the rest of the competition.
It might seem like a lot to comprehend at first, but unlike Godzilla, the rugged exterior isn’t as tough as it looks.
What is Operation Monarch?
Just like Iron Trials or Totally Normal Battle Royale, Operation Monarch is set in a regular BR structure, but adds the devastating power of the film’s literal Titans to the mix.
In this game mode, players must dodge the wrath of Godzilla and King Kong while trying to outdo other squads and earn the coveted new SCREAM killstreak.
How to win in Operation Monarch LTM?
The goal doesn’t change from a normal game in Caldera: you’re still fighting to be the last team standing.
There are a few new mechanics to get used to, but experienced Warzone players will pick them up in no time.
Monarch’s structure is very similar to the old Verdansk ’84 Power Grab LTM. So if this sounds familiar, you already know what to expect.
Titan Frenzy occurs at the beginning of the lobby and later in the game. During this time, the two Titans of the same name begin attacks around the map.
During this time, players can either turn their tails and run or try to fight back. While both strategies have risks and rewards, the squad that deals the most damage to a Titan is rewarded with the SCREAM device.
This new killstreak allows players to unleash the power of their choice of giant on enemy teams in a specific area.
For more information on the device, see our guide here.
New unlock system
One of the biggest changes from BR is that killstreaks and loadouts are now earned through drops from Monarch Intel.
These pickups can be found in Supply Boxes, on the bodies of fallen players, and on certain Supply Drops around the map.
You collect this information and redeem it to unlock the above bonuses as well as the new Killstreak.
That’s all there is to know about Operation Monarch LTM. For information on the entire event, see our full recap here.
