How to vote for Boys Planet as Mnet reality show premieres
Boys Planet is about to start and the rules for round 1 voting are already out. Here’s how to vote for Boys Planet when the latest K-pop reality show premieres on Mnet.
Following Girls Planet 999, which started with 99 contestants, the latest spin-off will feature 95 contestants in Episode 1. Based on audience and fan votes, Boys Planet participants qualify for each round. In addition to the live audience, global fans can also vote for this year’s Boys Planet.
Date and time for Boys Planet voting
Boys Planet voting begins on February 2nd after the first show airs and lasts until February 24th at 10:00am KST/8:00pm ET.
Fans can only vote once per day from a registered account. Check out how to vote below.
How to vote
- Boys Planet viewers can vote for their favorite participant on the show through the Mnet Plus app. Voting via the Mnet website is not possible as it is only counted from the app.
- To vote, download the Mnet Plus app from the Google Store here, Apple users can download the app here.
- Sign up with an email id and open the Boys Planet community once voting opens.
- Pick your favorite contestant/candidate from the show and start voting.
Rules
According to Mnet, voting results will be decided based on 50% Korean and 50% international votes. This allows viewers around the world to vote and increase the odds of their favorite contestants winning.

Fourth-generation K-pop fans are excited about the new cast of Boys Planet, as some of the show’s contestants who will be on the winning team make their debut as a future group.
Speaking of stunning visuals and a house full of talented K-pop rookies set to compete, one fan speculated on some of the early favorites including T01 member Woong Ki, Lee Hwang Hee, Seo Won and more.
Another added Yuki, Takuto and Lee Seung Hwan to his top 11.
Some other early favorites from the show include Zhang Hao, Kim Ji Woong, and Sung Hanbin.
