With the launch of CoD Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 2, the KG M40 assault rifle will shake up the meta. Before we get the new gun, here’s a rough look at how you can unlock it right away.
Despite some implementation delays, the large volume of CoD Pacific Season 2 Update finally locked. Both Warzone and Vanguard are set to get plenty of fresh content, with new weapons always on top.
Not unlike every previous seasonal update, the Season 2 patch brings in some extra firepower. This time around, four unique destructors are being rolled out, with two ready to go.
Among the new additions is the KG M40 AR, the second-best-damaging “packhorse” rifle in its class. If you’ve been wanting to get your hands on this gun right behind the gate, here’s how you can unlock it right away.

How to Unlock the KG M40 Assault Rifle in Warzone & Vanguard
KG M40 Assault Rifle Unlocked Directly via Warzone Pacific & Vanguard Season 2 Battle Pass.
Two of four new weapons is set to appear in the latest 100-story Battle Pass, with the KG M40 among them. Rest assured, however, this gun will be unlocked through one of the many free levels.
It is not yet known to what grade the KG M40 will be attached. Although weapon unlocks tend to stick to the same spot with each new Battle Pass. Based on the Part 1 layout, we predict the KG M40 will fall into either Level 15 or Level 31.
We’ll be sure to update you right here as soon as more details about the Battle Pass become available.
The full Battle Season 2 is sure to feature some of these shiny new AR Weapon Blueprints.
Once you’ve reached the required level in the Season 2 Battle Pass, the KG M40 will be yours to use on both titles. Whether you’re entering multiplayer lobbies or traversing Caldera, weapon level progress will continue.
