‘How long?’ The £315,000-a-week midfielder could be fed up at Chelsea – Paul Merson

Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson has said Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez could be fed up with the Blues if results don’t improve.
The former Arsenal star has gushed about Chelsea and Argentina international Enzo Fernandez.
Merson has noted that Fernandez is “a different class” and has suggested that the £315,000-a-week (Spotrac) Midfielder could eventually leave if Chelsea continue to struggle.
Chelsea signed Fernandez from Benfica in the January transfer window.
Accordingly Sky SportsThe former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winner paid £106.8million in transfer fees for the 22-year-old midfielder.

Fernandez signed an eight-and-a-half-year contract at Stamford Bridge to remain at the club until the summer of 2031.
The youngster has played 22 Premier League games for Chelsea.
Fernandez has provided two assists in those games.
Paul Merson on Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez
Merson told Sky Sports: “Mauricio Pochettino will do it right because he is a good manager, but it will be difficult. If they make the top four, they’ll uproot trees.
“They bought too many players who are the same. Enzo Fernandez is in a different class – one cut above the other. But how long will he be able to hold out?”
Don’t worry about Enzo Fernandez
We don’t think Chelsea fans have anything to worry about for Enzo Fernandez’s future.
There’s no way the 22-year-old will leave the Blues anytime soon.
First, Chelsea handed the Argentina international a long-term contract.
So Fernandez can’t just force a move away from Stamford Bridge in the next few years.
Chelsea will certainly demand a hefty transfer fee for the youngster if they actually have to sell him.
And that will be more than they paid for the midfielder.
In addition, Fernandez earns a massive salary with the Blues.
Money is hugely important in football, as in life, and the Argentina international is unlikely to be keen on a move any time soon.
