For most of the year, Verstappen, who had a fortune of £40m at the age of 24, lived in a £13m penthouse in Monte Carlo, which is believed to be rented.
The Dutch driver’s home is in the same apartment block as Felipe Massa and Daniel Ricciardo.

Hamilton, believed to have around £280m in the bank, also has a Monaco note in the exclusive Fontvieille district.
But he is planning to return to London permanently when work is completed on his stunning £18million six-bedroom mansion.

Today, Lewis is more eco-friendly and has switched to electric driving, including the recent £80,000 Mercedes EQS.
But in the past, he has been seen behind the wheel of a £1.5 million Pagani Zonda, cruising along the Pacific Coast Highway in a 1966 Shelby 427 Cobra worth £4 million, and parked outside a restaurant in a £2 million LaFerrari.
He also has a Mercedes AMG Project One made to order, which costs £2.5m.
Verstappen is very fond of British motorcycles, notably Aston Martin.
He has their concept supercar, the £2m Valkyrie, on order and will be delivered next year.
