How does Joe Biden spend Christmas in 2021?

The 46th President of the United States has chosen to spend his Christmas at the White House in 2021.

The decision came as a surprise to many, as Biden often enjoys spending his free time at his home in Delaware.

In fact, President Biden spent more than 25 weekends at his Wilmington home or his Rehoboth Beach home, according to US News.

In addition, the president and his family will also not be making the annual trip to the US Virgin Islands to New Year’s holiday.

Is the White House decorated for Christmas this year?

First Lady Jill Biden brought back the beloved White House tradition of Christmas holiday decorations.

She revealed holiday decoration on November 29, 2021.

The theme for the 2021 Christmas decorations is Things We Hold Sacred.

“The sacred things we hold unite us and transcend distance, time, and even the constraints of a pandemic: faith, family, and friendship; love of art, learning and nature; gratitude, service and community; solidarity and peace,” the presidential couple wrote in a guide visitors to celebrate.

“These are gifts that bind the heart strings of our lives together. These are gifts from the Heart.”

Some Twitter users slammed the decor asking “where’s the color?” while others label the center as “boring.”

What does Biden say about holiday plans amid the pandemic?

As the Omicron variant has swept across the US, Biden is saying that vaccinated people don’t need to cancel holiday plans.

“If you’ve been vaccinated and followed the precautions we all know well, you should feel comfortable celebrating Christmas and the holidays as intended,” Biden said from the White House.

On Monday, December 20, 2021, the Omicron variant became the dominant variant in the US.

“Omicron is serious, potentially fatal business for the unvaccinated,” Biden warned.

“We should all be worried about omicrons,” Biden said. “But don’t panic.”
