Houston traffic: A truck accident results in at least one death on the I-10 East Freeway near McCarty
The crash, which involved three vehicles, was confirmed by Houston Transtar at 11:47 a.m. Monday.
TxDOT added that some traffic came through on the shoulder.
Houston police later confirmed that the crash resulted in one fatality. The officers of the northeast department were called to the scene.
The police expect significant delays due to the closure of the highway. It is not immediately known how long the closure will last.
