Houston crime: Man killed while in SUV at Conoco Phillips gas station on Airline Drive in north Houston, police say

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A man was shot dead in an SUV in the parking lot of a north Houston gas station Sunday night, police said.

Officers were called to the Conoco Phillips gas station on the airline’s 4800 block of the North Freeway at approximately 9:04 p.m.

The 20 to 25-year-old man died in a hospital, according to police.

Video from the scene shows the driver’s side window damaged with a single bullet hole.

Investigators don’t have much to say, but they believe the suspect was in a black SUV. They will speak to a witness to gather more information.
