Houston chef Bruce Molzan was acquitted of child molestation charges in 2018, Harris County prosecutors say

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — The charges against a prominent Houston chef have been dropped, according to the Harris County Attorney’s Office.

In 2018, Bruce Molzan, who was then a chef at Ruggles Black on Kirby, was charged with two counts of child indecency. Now, four years later, the charges have been dropped as prosecutors found “probable cause exists but (one) case cannot be proved beyond reasonable doubt at this time”.

Although the charges were dropped, prosecutors said charges could be reinstated if more evidence is found.
