Horizon Forbidden West activities featured in trailer

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Guerrilla Games released a brand new trailer for Forbidden Horizon in the West, introduces the side activities of the game. From the looks of it, the game will have a lot to do, if you want to move on to the main road. We’re talking about melee pits, contracts, outposts and camps, hunting grounds, exploring ruins and cauldrons, etc.

Guerrilla Games previously said that they have learned a lot from Horizon Zero Dawn and have worked hard to improve Horizon Forbidden West. Horizon Forbidden West seems to have a new kind of challenge that involves Aloy jumping into an arena and taking on deadly enemies in gladiator style. Guerrilla teased that players should better equip themselves to suit the wilds and very briefly showed a merchant in the game.

“As Aloy explores the borders of the Western Forbidden City on February 18, she will discover lots of fun things to do,” Guerrilla wrote. “But remember that the Forbidden West is a vast and dangerous place, with more secrets and adventures than we can reveal here today!”

While Horizon Forbidden West’s main campaign will be about the same length as its predecessor, those looking to do everything the game has to offer will have to stay busy for quite some time.
