Homebase discounts real 6ft Christmas trees from £60 to £3.50

Christmas trees will fetch sky-high prices in the days leading up to December 25th – but you might need a little luck to get the best bargain.

Some shoppers really celebrated Christmas tree for only £1 at B&Q and £3.50 at Homebase.

One Twitter user wrote: “Just B&Q Wallasey, every Christmas tree is a quid.

“They didn’t tell the girl at the arrival, [she] tried to charge me the whole thing! “

The Merseyside Store is one of a number of stores nationwide that sell real plants at bargain prices.

Shoppers have been advised to check their local B&Q for a festive deal.

And Homebase customers were thrilled to find a real tree for as little as £3.50.

Blogger Donna Brough wrote: “One of the Facebook followers sent me this picture so you should check your local store too.

“Pick up these Real Christmas Trees for £3.50 at Homebase.”

Homebase confirmed the incredible sale offer and suggested customers check their local stores for deals.

A spokesperson said: “The best course of action is to contact your local store about this.”

Last year, B&Q reduced the price of £60 Christmas tree for just 10p in the days leading up to Christmas.

Ikea is selling a real tree for just £9.

And Homebase took a 50% cut tree stand and its decorations during the pre-Christmas sale.
