Christmas trees will fetch sky-high prices in the days leading up to December 25th – but you might need a little luck to get the best bargain.
Some shoppers really celebrated Christmas tree for only £1 at B&Q and £3.50 at Homebase.
One Twitter user wrote: “Just B&Q Wallasey, every Christmas tree is a quid.
“They didn’t tell the girl at the arrival, [she] tried to charge me the whole thing! “
The Merseyside Store is one of a number of stores nationwide that sell real plants at bargain prices.
Shoppers have been advised to check their local B&Q for a festive deal.
And Homebase customers were thrilled to find a real tree for as little as £3.50.
Blogger Donna Brough wrote: “One of the Facebook followers sent me this picture so you should check your local store too.
“Pick up these Real Christmas Trees for £3.50 at Homebase.”
Homebase confirmed the incredible sale offer and suggested customers check their local stores for deals.
A spokesperson said: “The best course of action is to contact your local store about this.”
Last year, B&Q reduced the price of £60 Christmas tree for just 10p in the days leading up to Christmas.
Ikea is selling a real tree for just £9.
