Hololive star Mori Calliope announces debut album “UnAlive” and concert

Reaper rapper Mori Calliope herself is finally releasing her debut album. The Hololive star’s debut release, titled ‘UnAlive’, will feature 11 tracks – including the hit single ‘Q’ featuring Gawr Gura – and she will be holding a birthday concert on April 4th to celebrate this.

Mori Calliope’s rap songs have delighted both her fans and those outside of the Hololive fandom. While she’s had a string of smaller releases and covers, the Grim Reaper from Hololive EN is finally releasing a full album.

The 11-track album, called UnAlive, is set to be released on March 21st – shortly after she made her 3D concert debut at Holofes 2022 on March 20th.

Calli worked with a number of producers including Camellia, Elliot Hsu, Pretty Patterns and Seibin to bring the musical release to life.

“I am very happy,” she said in a March 18 stream. “I hope you’ll like it when it comes out. I’m really looking forward to this album because I was listening to the whole master the other day and I was like, ‘Oh man, this is the best thing I’ve ever done.’”

The album will also feature recent release Q, featuring Hololive star Gawr Gura. This song alone amassed almost 2 million lists on Spotify in 6 weeks and 9 million views on YouTube.

But that’s not all for Calli. She will also head straight into a concert for her new album, with a special birthday 3D performance on April 4th.

“My birthday will be a 3D concert,” she added on the stream. “All of our 3Ds will be revealed [at Holofes], so more 3D stuff will happen for everyone. The doors to 3D birthday life are not only open to me. I happen to be the first person on the list.”

It’s the start of a “whole new era” for Calli and the rest of Hololive EN as they continue to catapult into the streaming realm.

Mori Calliope’s debut album UnAlive is out on March 21st and will be available on all digital platforms including Spotify and YouTube. Hololive star Mori Calliope announces debut album “UnAlive” and concert
