Hogwarts Legacy release date pushed back to PS4, Xbox One, Switch

Developer Avalanche Software has confirmed that the Hogwarts Legacy release date on last generation platforms including PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch has been delayed. Compared to PS5, Xbox Series X release date | S and PC for the game on February 10, 2023, the PS4 and Xbox One versions will release two months later, while the Switch version will be released even later.

What is the release date of Hogwarts Legacy on PS4, Xbox One and Switch?

Hogwarts Legacy for PS4 and Xbox One will be released on April 4th, 2023. On Nintendo Switch it will be released on July 25th, 2023.

To add to the confusion, those who pre-order the deluxe version of the game have 72-hour early access, meaning the release date for them will actually be February 7th, 2023. The pre-order of the deluxe version will also come with the Dark Arts Pack, an Onyx Hippogriff mount and a Dark Arts Garrison hat.

As far as we know, Hogwarts Legacy isn’t coming to Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass. It won’t have a morale system like other RPGs, but you can still choose to use the Dark Arts. Players will encounter various quests and storylines that shape the witch or wizard they become in the game.

Hogwarts Legacy has been nominated for Most Anticipated Game at The Game Awards 2022.
