The countdown to the release date and time when Hogwarts Legacy Early Access will be out is fast approaching, and players should know how to use the New Zealand trick on Xbox to play on February 6th.

When is Hogwarts Legacy coming out in New Zealand?
The release date and time countdown to when Hogwarts Legacy Early Access will be available in New Zealand is February 7th at 00:00 NZDT.
Warner Bros. has confirmed this Hogwarts Legacy Twitter account that the game starts at midnight local time for each region on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Start times in New Zealand are February 6th at 03:00 PST, 06:00 EDT and 11:00 GMT.
How to do a New Zealand Xbox trick
Hogwarts Legacy fans on Xbox can play Early Access on February 6th by pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition and doing the New Zealand release time trick.
Assuming you’ve pre-ordered the deluxe edition, once the game launches in New Zealand, all you have to do is follow these steps:
- select settings
- Click Systems
- Proceed to Language and Location
- Change location to New Zealand
- Reset Xbox console
There’s also an NZ trick for PlayStation, but it’s ultimately not worth it. You would have to create a separate NZ profile and pay more to buy PC Game Supply gift cards.
How to play Hogwarts Legacy early access
You must pre-order the Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition to play Early Access.
The deluxe edition costs £74.99/$79.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, while it costs £59.99/$69.99 on PC. In addition to 72 hours of early access, the Deluxe Edition also offers the following bonuses:
- Dark Arts Pack
- Dark Arts Garrison Hat
- Versions for PS4 and PS5/Xbox One and Series X/S
The pre-order bonuses for each edition of Hogwarts Legacy are as follows:
- Onyx Hippogriff mount
- Felix Felicis potion recipe
All of this is provided courtesy of the PSN store. Apart from the deluxe pack, the standard edition costs £64.99/$69.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, while on PC it costs £49.99/$59.99 via Steam.
In addition to all pre-order bonuses, there are a variety of other rewards that can be obtained by linking your WB account to Wizarding World.
