‘Unfortunately, in the film industry, people often work with unprofessional or busy productions to gain experience and credibility. Many of us have worked with those types of products. Rust is not one of them. Rust is very professional,’ it reads.

Addressing speculation surrounding conditions at the set, it continued: ‘We acknowledge that no set of products is perfect, and like any production, Rust has areas. brilliant and more difficult fields. While we stand firm with our unions and strongly support the fight for better working conditions across our industry, we do not feel that this grouping is representative of the kind of thing. which our union is fighting.

‘We support every effort to make sets safer to work for all the cast, crew and working animals. The depictions of Rust as a chaotic, dangerous, and exploitative workplace are untrue and distract from the most important thing: the memory of Halyna Hutchins and the need to find modern alternatives to Safety methods and weapons are outdated in the industry.

‘While it is true that some crew members quit before the accident, the majority of us stayed on, never feeling the need to protest or quit. ‘We are enjoying our workplace. That disgruntled few do not represent the views of all of us. For Rust, our hours and wages are fair and in line with expectations.
