‘He’s training’: Arsenal said the £12m player ‘manages the game from the touchline’ like Arteta

Charles Watts has praised the influence Jorginho had at Arsenal following his move from Chelsea in January.
Mikel Arteta eats your heart out, but according to Watts there is another person who “manages the game from the sidelines” and that is Jorginho.
The Arsenal expert added that the 31-year-old “trains” his team-mates when he is not in the starting XI and that, as he said, the players also look up to him away from the cameras In the Arsenal.
Whenever a Chelsea player moves from Stamford Bridge to the Emirates there is always a lot of talk and that was the case with Jorginho over the winter after his £12million move (Sky Sports).
Unfortunately, his debut for Arsenal began with a defeat at Everton’s Goodison Park, but he scored the memorable last-minute winner at Aston Villa.
The way the Gunners lost the Premier League title last season will still hurt fans, but here the players are looking to make amends with Watts sharing his thoughts on what Jorginho is like.

Jorginho, the coach
“What he does off the field,” Watts said. “How he is in training. The way players look up to him. The leadership qualities he has. You can see him on the sidelines when he comes on as a substitute. A lot of players coming on will just sulk around.
“Look, Jorginho almost controls the game from the touchline when he’s warming up. You can see how he trains players. Coaches his teammates. Always one of the first players on the pitch to celebrate a goal. He’s such a team player.”

Arsenal squad depth
After the international break, the games are piling up, including the eagerly awaited return to the big league and the Champions League.
This is where Arsenal’s squad strength will be tested to the limit and this is where players like Jorginho come into play.
The Italy international is fully aware that he is not a regular starter, but that does not mean he will not take part in the big games, as these will take place weekly when club football returns.
