‘He’s happy’: Arsenal midfielder’s agent reacts to Saudi Arabia links

Arsenal midfielder Jorginho, who only joined the north London club in January, has already faced questions about his Arsenal future.

The Italian midfielder, signed by Arsenal from Chelsea, could well be a replacement for Declan Rice and Thomas Partey in the Gunners’ midfield, so his playing time may be limited.

The Italy midfielder’s agent has spoken about his future, revealing that the former Napoli midfielder has attracted interest from the Saudi Pro League.

The midfielder could well be a great signing for any side in the Saudi Pro League, particularly for Al-Hilal, who have failed to secure any high-profile midfield signings after struggling to land Marco Verratti from PSG.

‘He is happy’

Joao Santos, Jorginho’s statement, was quoted by Fabrizio Romano on his client’s future ahead of the new Premier League season.

“I’m sure Jorginho will stay at Arsenal. He is happy in England. Let us continue.

“I’ve had a few calls from Saudi and also Spanish clubs like him but he’s staying at Arsenal, that’s for sure,” he was quoted as saying.

The midfielder seems unlikely to make the move to the Middle East but his qualities in a side like this are certainly there Al Hilal or possibly Al-Ahliwho were also credited with participating in Verratti L’Equipecould be a good target for the Italian.

It’s been a pretty disappointing time in London for the Italian. After winning the Champions League with Chelsea under Thomas Tuchel, he struggled to progress and was then allowed to join Arsenal mid-season.

A deflected winner against Aston Villa seemed to be the kickstarter the midfielder needed, but Arsenal struggled in the final weeks of the season and succumbed to pressure from unrelenting Manchester City.

Jorginho’s future appears to lie with Arsenal in what will be a disappointing revelation for Middle East sides.
