Henry Winkler recalls the time he got hit by a star when he met Mick Jagger.
That Better call Saul opened up about meeting the Rolling Stones frontman during a recent appearance Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
“I was in a restaurant and I walked up to Mick Jagger and said, ‘Hi, I’m Henry Winkley and I have all your albums,'” the actor said.
According to Winkler, Jagger barely looked up to look at him and simply replied, “Henry,” before continuing with his dinner.
“I snuck out of the restaurant,” the 76-year-old recalls.
As he left, he apologized to Jagger for interrupting his meal, saying, “I’m so sorry. I did not want to bother you. Enjoy the sushi. It was such a pleasure. I love your outfit.”
Winkler appeared on the talk show Wednesday (July 13), a day after he received an Emmy nomination for his role on the hit HBO series barry.
In 2018, Winkler – who is also known for his role – competed arrested development – won an Emmy for playing the same character.
