‘He pays for it’: Gary Neville slams the £93,000-a-week Arsenal player against Manchester United

Gary Neville has slammed Arsenal defender Ben White for the goal scored by Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford in the first half of Sunday afternoon’s Premier League match at the Emirates Stadium in north London.
The Sky Sports pundit believes Arsenal star Ben White should have done more to stop Marcus Rashford putting Manchester United ahead in the first half.
Rashford put the Red Devils ahead in the 27th minute.
The England international forward received the ball down the left channel, from where he sliced inside and scored.
It was a wonderful goal.
Criticism for Arsenal defender Ben White against Manchester United
However, former United defender Gary Neville has noted that White should have knocked out Rashford.
The Englishman has played as a central defender this season.
But against United on Sunday the price is £93,000 a week (SalarySport) Defender started as a right-back.
Neville continued Sky Sports Premier League (4:57 p.m. 3 September 2023): “Ben White is four, five yards away, he should get closer and he’s paying for it.”

While Ben White could have knocked out Marcus Rashford, we have to applaud the Manchester United forward for the way he scored.
We know Rashford performs best when he comes in from the left.
And he was perfectly prepared for the goal.
The main problem with the goal was how United got the ball in the first place.
We think the goal was more down to Rashford’s class than White’s inability to knock him out.
