Harry and Meghan’s recent royal attacks have been gutted by British commentators – with one TV presenter even suggesting they represented “treason”.
GB News presenter Nana Akua, 51, was so outraged that she called for a national referendum to strip the couple of all of their titles, including Harry’s “birthright” as a prince.
She called the documentaries “disgraceful,” adding, “I would go so far as to say they commit treason.”
The presenter, who is black, was furious that Meghan was making it “all about race,” claiming “the only reason people don’t like this woman is frankly her behavior. The horrible things she said.”
“This woman is delusional, self-obsessed, and she’s dragging Harry down with her. And frankly, they’re a disgrace to this country,” Akua said.
GB News colleague Dan Wootton called it the couple’s “most shameful propaganda yet”.
“Prince Harry has just unfoundedly accused Prince William of bullying him out of the royal family. This Netflix series isn’t just a delusional victimhood fantasy, it’s the end of his relationship with his own brother.” he tweeted.
“Princess Diana would be devastated,” he said of the brothers’ late mother.
Post columnist Piers Morgan also called it “outstanding treason” and “a grotesque and disgusting betrayal‘ from Harry’s family.
Political commentator Nile Gardiner, an adviser to former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, accused the Sussexes of “enriching themselves with royal titles while attacking the royal family”.
“This is a massive disinformation campaign by Megan and Harry – it’s an absolute disgrace. It’s a hateful campaign against the British monarchy,” he said.
“And I think the late Queen would have been absolutely horrified.”
Talk TV host Julia Hartley-Brewer bluntly urged the “privileged” couple to “stop whining.”
“Harry, Meghan – shut up. Just shut up!” She pleaded on her show.
Even a former communications secretary to King Charles III debated Harry and Meghan’s explosive claims – politely noted “Inconsistencies in her narrative.”
Amid widespread criticism, some of the couple’s staunch supporters spoke out in their defense.
Activist and author Dr. Shola Mos-Shogbamimu explained: “I unequivocally & categorically believe Harry and Meghan.”
The royal family left Meghan Markle alone crucified to protect their interests KNOWING it was eroding her mentally, psychologically and physically,” she tweeted, comparing it to “lies” spread to protect Prince Andrew.
“The real villain in the pursuit of Harry and Meghan is the royal family.” She wroteHer bold critic: “Come up to me.”
