Speaking of which he hopes Strict will improve his fitness, he said: “My biggest challenge will be my weight and fitness, I’m a big guy and I think I’m strong but think of me as a rhino where I can have a short burst of energy and then I’m done after that.
“So I don’t want to be a rhino, I want to be a dolphin constantly moving through water, which can take hours and hours. I want to be the strongest I’ve ever been in my life. I am a former rugby player. What we do in rugby is very different than what we do on the dance floor, but I expect a lot of that will be broadcast.”
Yassin found himself at the joint lead Strict Ranked an impressive 34 points in the first week of the show after wowing with a foxtrot to “Islands in the Stream.” In week two, his jive put him third on the leaderboard, but his rumba in week three almost dropped him to the bottom with 25 points.
