Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystal score their first perfect 40 in Strictly finals

Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystal had Be sure to come dance Viewers and judges cried tonight (December 17) after their Couple’s Choice performance in the finale.
The couple danced to Master KG’s “Jerusalema – Remix” with Burna Boy and Nomcebo Zikode and competed in the finals against Fleur East and Vito Coppola, Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu, and Helen Skelton and Gorka Marquez.
“I get a little emotional watching you guys dance,” juror Anton Du Beke told them after their performance, “because it’s like the clouds part when you get on the dance floor and the sun comes out.”
The famously grumpy Craig Revel Horwood gave them a score of 10, resulting in them achieving their first perfect 40 of the series. He said, “Hamza, you’re everything I’m not, darling. You bring joy to the world…absolutely incredible.”
Both Du Beke and his colleague Motsi Mabuse were moved to tears by the dance, as were Yassin and Przystal and many viewers who posted on social media.
“What a last dance for Hamza and Jowita, they are absolutely sensational and have been every week!” posted a fan on Twitter.
“Any judges talking about the joy that Hamza spreads, I’m fucking crying,” wrote another.
“Oh my god, stop it Anton, I’m crying. Hamza is crying. Craig smiles. So emotional, and that’s exactly what a dancer should evoke in people. He’s so special. That’s the winner right there,” a third posted.
Yassin and Przystal debuted their Couple’s Choice in week eight, bringing in Afrobeats Strict dance floor for the first time.
It remains to be seen who will win Strict 2022, but Yassin said bringing home the Glitterball Trophy will be the “icing on the cake” of a wonderful experience.
