Guns N’ Roses pulled the plug on their Glasgow show on Tuesday amid an undisclosed illness and medical advice.
The rock band said in a social media post on Monday that the show at Glasgow Green in Scotland had been cancelled.
“Unfortunately, due to illness and medical advice, GN’R are unable to perform in Glasgow tomorrow 5 July 2022,” the statement read.
“We are working on rebooking options for this show so please keep your tickets and await another update. Thank you for your understanding and patience.”
While details about his illness are still a mystery, frontman Axl Rose revealed he’s been to the doctor and would be changing the setlist.
“So I went to the doctors and all that stuff. I slept here last night just to make sure,” the 60-year-old frontman said said in a video taken in London and posted to Twitter.
“So I’m going to change the songs vocals a bit. I hope you don’t mind. We would like to continue.”
News of the illness comes after Carrie Underwood joined the band for two surprise performances on Friday and Saturday nights, People reported.
Guns N’ Roses is expected to wrap up the first leg of their tour in Hanover, Germany on July 15th and continue in South America in September.
