Greg Gutfeld returns to Fox News tonight for the first time in a long absence as he discusses his mother-in-law in Ukraine

AFTER a long absence due to breaking news about the war in Ukraine, Greg Gutfeld returned to Fox News and opened up about his mother-in-law.

With his usual quick-witted sarcasm, Gutfeld spoke about his absence from the air as well as his private life.

Gutfeld said his wife Elena Moussa was in Warsaw with his mother-in-law. He thanked his colleagues at Fox News, who had helped his mother-in-law flee the country.

According to tweets from the show’s official Twitter account, Gutfeld was briefly taken off the air.

He further explained that the show would skip its normal airings to have more time for coverage Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Greg’s mother-in-law was able to evacuate to Ukraine Poland and reunited with her daughter in Warsaw.

During a segment on The Five, he played a clip of the tearful reunion between his wife, Elena GutfeldShe and her mother in front of the Renaissance Hotel in Warsaw say to her mother in Russian: “Thank God.”

Elena said waiting for her mom was “absolutely awful.”

Gutfeld was joined by Dagen McDowell, Bill Hemmer, Kat Timpf and current NWA television world champion Tyrus to discuss the latest news and pop culture.

Gutfeld covered several issues, but most notably the Russian invasion of Ukraine and President Joe Biden’s handling of it.
