Grammys 2022: when is the ceremony and how to watch?

The 64th Grammys Awards Show is fast approaching and is scheduled to air live on April 3rd.

To be a part of music’s biggest night and see all of their star-studded performances, tune in at 8pm EDT (1am BST) on CBS. UK broadcast details are TBC.

This year’s ceremony – hosted by Trevor Noah – has brought on Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak as Silk Sonic to open the ceremony, followed by performances by Carrie Underwood, John Legend, J Balvin with Maria Becerra, Jon Batiste, HER, Foo Fighters, Chris Stapleton, Nas, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, Brandi Carlile, BTS, Olivia Rodrigo and the Osborne brothers.

Maverick City Music, Aymée Nuviola and Billy Strings will appear in special segments “presenting Las Vegas and highlighting genres not historically represented in the Grammy Awards broadcast.”

The evening’s events include a special memorial to Stephen Sondheim, with performances of his songs by Cynthia Erivo, Ben Platt, Leslie Odom Jr. and Rachel Zegler.

Additionally, producers have announced that they are working to put together a tribute to Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, who died last week (March 25) at the age of 50.
