GMB staff risk the wrath of ‘angry’ Susanna Reid AGAIN with another huge live blunder
The GOOD Morning Britain crew risked the wrath of host Susanna Reid with another Howler live on air – days after she was furious over a series of screen glitches.
The Sun revealed last Friday how the presenter “pulled her hair out” after production staff rattled.
And they similarly began this week with a voiceover announcement: “You’re watching Good Morning Britain on Friday the 3rd of February.”
Unfortunately it was Monday the sixth.
This time, an amused Susanna, 52, and co-host Ben Shephard, 48, were able to laugh at the calendar rooster.
But the mistake has fueled fears among executives that humiliating mistakes will continue to happen.
A show insider said: “Susanna and Ben were stunned, especially after last week’s mishaps.
“Getting the date of the show wrong is pretty bad by anyone’s standards – it was the worst possible start to the week.
“She got past that with a few eye rolls, but it keeps happening.”
Another said: “Actually it’s really sad – the production team seems completely incompetent.
“They just seem overwhelmed.”
Last week, The Sun told how Susanna had frustrated bosses over the fundamental flaws, telling executives that the on-screen flaws “make us look stupid”.
One of the faux pas was the word “remember” being misspelled in a particularly sensitive point about a death.
Susanna’s frustration led to multiple emails from bosses to employees – urging them to pay more attention to the details.
