The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for snow and ice across the UK and Scotland as wet and windy weather moves in from France.
Stormy conditions could turn to snow across some parts of the country as White Christmas continues for thousands of people, while other places have been warned of possible flooding.
Forecasters warn there will be travel chaos today as up to 4cm of white substance could fall in some spots, while those on higher ground could see up to 10 cm.
Coupled with 45mph winds, it proves the perfect storm for a winter blizzard that could destroy festivals.
Areas of the UK from the East Midlands to the North East as well as Scotland will be hardest hit.
The Met had to expand their yellow warnings to include an area from the Scottish Border to Derbyshire and further east through Durham and Northumberland.
