Georgia court website removes files on possible Trump charges in 2020 election investigation

Atlanta prosecutors on Monday inadvertently revealed the crimes they want to charge former President Donald Trump with in connection with his attempt to overturn the 2020 Georgia election result.

A two-page filing, briefly posted to the Fulton County court’s website and then removed, showed charges including racketeering, conspiracy and false testimony were brought against the 77-year-old former president, according to Reuters.

A grand jury convened by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is scheduled to hear testimony Monday and Tuesday. An announcement of the indictments against Trump and his allies is expected soon thereafter.
