Yae Miko is the only new Genshin Impact character in Version 2.5.

Grand priestess Narukami has been a core part of Inazuma’s storyline so far, and Genshin Impact players will now be able to recruit Yae Miko to their team.

She’ll join the game’s roster as a five-star Electro Catalyst character – having great synergy with the equally Raiden Shogun. Her Elemental skill allows her to dash across the battlefield, leaving behind totems that can be activated with her Elemental Burst to deal massive damage.

Yae Miko is also receiving a standalone story quest in Genshin Impact to accompany her release, as well as a special five-star weapon – Kagura’s Verity – in a banner running alongside hers. .

Two Rerun Banners: Kokomi & Raiden Shogun

Kokomi Genshin Impact

Did you miss Kokomi the first time? The leader of the Sangonomiya House will be rerun in Version 2.5.

While Yae Miko will have her solo banner for the entirety of Phase 1, two replays will take place in the second half of Version 2.5: Kokomi and Raiden Shogun.

It’s been a few months since the two were first released – they both go live in September 2021 – and with the plots revolving around them, it makes perfect sense to bring the duo back.

More details about Kokomi and Raiden Shogun ran the banner again will be released close to the release date of Version 2.5.

Raiden Shogun’s New Weekly Boss Battle

Raiden Shogun Weekly Boss Battle

Raiden Shogun will be the new weekly boss battle in Version 2.5.

Raiden Shogun will receive her own weekly boss fight in Genshin Impact Version 2.5, with Kamisato Ayato has not been released yet and Yae Miko is rumored to use her item.

Unlike her previous encounter, the Raiden Shogun can be seen hovering above the ground in a mechanical suit, which she uses to wield her Musou no Hitotachi. At one point, Ei even used his Eye of Stormy Judgment to unleash a giant katana, cutting through everything on screen.

While the Raiden Shogun story mission fight proved tough for many Genshin players, this new weekly boss looks to increase her damage even further.

And if that’s not enough Raiden Shogun content, she’ll also get a Second Act for her Chapter Imperatrix Umbrosa story quest in Version 2.5.

Shadowy Husk’s New Enemy

There are three types of Shadowy Husk enemies coming to Genshin Impact.

Three new enemies are being added to Genshin Impact. Named after its archetype the Shadowy Husk, there will be three different types: Standard Bearer, Line Breaker, and Guardian.

They match different elements – Pyro, Hydrogen and Cryo – and have different weapons and abilities.

New Shadowy Husk enemies are being added to Enkanomiya, but could appear on different parts of Teyvat in the future.

Three Realms Gate Supply Event & Divine Ingenuity

Players will tackle Custom Domains created by others during the God of Fortune event.

Four events will be available to players throughout Genshin Impact Version 2.5, the two biggest of which are the Supply of the Three Realms Gate and the God of Wealth Quest.

In Three Realms Gateway Giving, players will have to explore a new part of Enkanomiya while fending off a corrosive mist that weakens their powers. However, by charging your Bokuso Box and making an offering, you can clean it.

God of Fortune Event was leaked in some capacity prior to the update and will see players create their own Domains to share with others. Players will be able to use trails, set traps, use element-applied platforms, wind fields, and other obstacles.

A few smaller events, including the Hyakunin Ikki tag team’s rerun event, are also expected in Patch 2.5.
