According to the lawsuit, the actor sought religious exemption from the Covid 19 mandate, which ABC denied.

“I enjoy a religious exemption from mandatory vaccinations for Covid 19 on the basis of my sincere and deep moral belief that my body is endowed with natural processes to protect me and its natural integrity cannot be violated ethically managing artificially created copies of genetic material, alien to nature and experimental,” wrote Rademacher in an email to Disney human resources in October, according to a lawsuit obtained by Rolling stone.

The lawsuit alleges religious discrimination on the grounds that the network is required to comply with religious exemptions.

Right before being kicked out General Hospital Last month, Rademacher was criticized by her co-stars for sharing an anti-transgender meme on social media.

Cassandra James, a transgender woman who is part of the show, wrote in response to the post: “I know of a transgender post shared by a co-worker. General Hospital actor. Shame on you. You have some serious learning and openness to do. I feel extremely disappointed that such public ignorance can come from GH family.”

In response, Rademacher called James “an absolute talent” and “very beautiful,” adding: “I don’t think a man through armor would say that.”
