Declan Rice to Emirates Stadium is a match made in heaven

After the praise Gary Lineker gave to England superstar Declan Rice against Italy, let’s quickly assess why a potential Arsenal transfer ticks all the boxes for all involved.

For starters, the Gunners could enlist a player capable of not only playing in place of the irreplaceable Thomas Partey, but possibly even surpassing him one day.

Additionally, Rice could be deployed right where Granit Xhaka is and perhaps see his most devastating form in a box-to-box role where his ball carrying ability shines brightest.

Third, the player would finally get a chance to compete in the Champions League, making the move sensible for both sides.
