Damilola Olakanmi, 23, died in London last week after eating a drug-laced ‘gummy bear’.

Detectives say county line drug dealers attack teenagers and even younger children with the candy and then persuade them to join their gangs.

West Yorkshire Police recently seized £300,000 worth of cannabis edibles from a house in Wakefield.

They were designed like candies and packed in colorful packages.

And officials in the east of England received 150 reports of similar “treats” in just six months.
